If you have mass emails turned off, well.. I thought I would go ahead and post it here as well.

Look guys. Before I continue on, I know you have heard what I am about to say from me before, and you might be getting tired of hearing it, but this is the last time I am going to mention it.
I think it is a fair statement to say that I, along with the rest of our staff, have worked our butts off to get the forum to where it is today. And I am proud of that.
What I am not proud of, is our lack of activity. With a member base of well over 3,500 members; to only have a a handful of active members (What do I mean as active? I would include logging on and posting regularly, and participating in forum discussions) is disheartening.
We have provided the users with as many possibilities as we can think of to promote activity; A Screen of the Month section, Build Offs, General Talk, Mod Sections and Screen Shots for every SCS Game, Upcoming Game News, Links, etc. But we still are left with minimal activity, and an average of less than 60 members (most of them being new) logging on in 24 hours, each and every day.
Maybe you're thinking our board is too regular; maybe we should become a little different. Or maybe we're just doing something wrong. You guys need to let us know what you want us to do! We have a section just for suggestions. Or let one of the staff know in a message. Or why not post some screen shots, or just a general talk thread? Because, as I see it now, it seems as if this problem will never go away. It seems like most of the used-to-be active members have forgotten about us. And if this continues, to be honest I am getting rather tired of running a forum of this size if the activity level stays this low.
The staff have talked over it, and we will take action if nothing improves. But believe me when I say that our staff would hate for it do go down, after all that has happened through the years. So we need your help.
To sum up what I have just said above in simpler terms; If you guys want the forum to still be around in a few months, we expect more activity.
And, as I said, this will be the last time I mention this. The outcome of this is up to you.
Thanks for your time,
Scott.
