Nice laptop your getting, though it would be an even more kickass system if your getting a i7 CPU instead of an i5 and 8GB ram. ;D Anyhow, just a suggestion if you can afford another $50, i'd get the Intel® Core™ i5 540M 2.53GHz (3.06GHz Turbo Mode, 3MB Cache) CPU. A little more CPU power comes in handy with a laptop like that. Nice lappy though. *drools*

Even with games your fine with a system like that for the upcomming 2-3 years. I'd say enjoy it when it arrives.

That Alienware M17x sure sounds like fun there.. I've an Alienware Area51 Aurora desktopper, with 9Gigs onboard, but only a 1.35Tb HDD, but no matter.. Sometime in the not-so-far future considering an upgrade... maybe even an M18x to go in my Suburban.. for now I've only a rinkydink Subaru Legacy [ho hum] ..
